3/26/2025: We are aware that an issue has occurred preventing users from invoking the WIXY1260Online stream using the Amazon Echo (Alexa) device. This Amazon app is dependent on the Android app working correctly, which is presently not functioning correctly.
The Android app lost its connection to our song request form, and we had our developer publish an update to the app to fix the song request form. Unfortunately in the process, the update produced an unexpected error and is unable to accept song requests and may not work correctly.
Our staff Webmaster has resolved the issues needed for the app developer to update the app, and our developer is working to rectify the issue with the Google Play Developer platform.
We apologize for any inconvenience, and expect the issue to be resolved in the coming days. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Workaround: Amazon Echo users can use their smartphones, computers, or tablets to "cast" the station to their Echo. Android users who wish to make a request or listen to the station can do so by using a smartphone or tablet web browser to access our mobile friendly website, which features full functionality similar to the Android app.
